Oh my god Ms Molly I cannot express how pleased and surprised I am with these tyres, especially considering the price. I wanted my Surly Straggler to have a tire that was more pavement friendly yet could handle gravel to replace my gnarly Smart Sam. They roll smoothly and quietly and adhere remarkably to asphalt and gravel. I can corner through the streets at impressive speeds and feel absolutely safe with the clutch. They roll and hook well on muddy ground and I can drift backwards with ease, but as soon as I release the rear brake they immediately take over the trail again. And they are incredibly flexible, largely thanks to my bike's slightly curved fork. They eliminate the harshness of bumps and pits, making them very comfortable on long rides of 80+ miles. The performance and handling I get from tires just DOESN'T WORK, especially at under $30. The only downside is that they're heavy, some of the heaviest I've ever had, so they're slow to accelerate but pack a lot of momentum when you get up to speed. Highly recommended.
