It is what it is. I'm not sure if the screen is really 7 inches, but if we're in the small screen market, are we really counting? I can't remember the actual resolution, but I'm pretty sure it's sub-HD, although it looked good enough to me when I was playing around with it on my PS4. The RCA 3.5mm headphone input is useful for testing small things like old consoles or camcorders. To be honest it will come in handy for electronics/robotics enthusiasts, it will no doubt find a use for it or 7. As for standard usage of some sort, you might be better off looking elsewhere. Those looking for a small screen might be better off just buying a micro USB/USB-C to HDMI for their phone if possible. Even cheap prepaid grocery store phones have better resolution if image fidelity is a big issue. Again, I didn't have much trouble with the PS4, but I didn't have to read much either.
