I just LOVE my weighted blanket. At first I thought it was a bit heavy (15lbs queen size) so I only covered it up to my hips, but after a few minutes it felt great so I decided to cover it all the way up. As I explain to my friends and family, it's like the perfect snowy day, in your favorite flannel pajamas, with a mug of hot chocolate, a roaring fireplace and your favorite cozy movie. It's cozy and amazing! I thought it might be too hot (I live in Florida and we have hot weather) but it actually regulates my body temperature. I have anxiety, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis so I was worried it might be too much for me, but it calms me down immediately and doesn't make my fibrotic or rheumatoid condition worse. For older, less active people (I still try to exercise when I can) I would recommend a 5-10 lb blanket and for men a 20 lb blanket. I love that it has a duvet cover so I can wash it if needed. This is by far the best investment I've made in a while and I consistently recommend it to friends and family. love this product!
