YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ABOUT NETGEAR'S WARRANTY AND PRODUCT SERVICE!

Like many other reviewers. I bought the router on May 1st, 2016. Just got my 6th tech support call since I bought it on 3/15/18. The first calls went smoothly as the car was still under warranty. After the warranty, NetGear then tries to charge me for 'support' every time I call back, just like the others. They tried to justify it with food costs and so on. The problem with this ideology is that I have a washing machine, Epson printer/scanner/fax, etc. All my products are in my house. manufacturer support. Not only back, but also if there is a problem with hardware, software or a patch. They are still helping me customize my product! NOT NETGEAR! They want to monetize their fix, and then if the router doesn't work properly, they want to charge $136 to pay for "reconfiguration" support. I can buy a new router for the same money! And just like other test reports, which router does not last longer than 2 years in this price range?!?! Also, this just shows NetGear's greedy pig mentality trying to figure out how to monetize their customers when OTHER ROUTER SUPPLIERS DON'T! PLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS THEY ALL SAY THE SAME!. I'm about to spend my $136 on a new router from another manufacturer that will keep their product's configuration beyond the normal warranty. What is the point of an electronic device that the manufacturer does not even help to install properly without paying for it? I mean, it's just pure corporate greed. In fact, it left such a bad taste in my mouth. I will never buy a NetGear product again. you have been warned 90 days help. That's all. Otherwise. Get out your wallet and spend more money than the product is even worth.
