Good quality but not as reliable on a dirt bike

These bags are a bit small but the expandable width makes up for the shorter length/height. All of your mounting points will depend on your bike frame and fender placement. If you have an off-road bike and, like me, have tried other solutions, you know that the bag needs to be kept off the hot pipe and pulled down. I had to run a thin bungee cord around the tail light to the side rings at the top/back of the bag. So this keeps them from sliding forward, but the biggest problem is securing them in one spot at the bottom of the bag so they don't fly up when you ride over bumps. So my only option was to use the straps that came with it; on the left side of the bag that was pulled to the frame at the bottom of the air box which was tilted 45 degrees forward rather than straight down. On the right side, I've temporarily attached them to the plastic brake cover, and they're also angled forward at about 45 degrees, so neither of them pull straight down. Plastic side panels. These side panels are firmly attached to the seat but not to the bottom, so you cannot use the side panel to attach the bottom of the bag to it, or both side panels will detach from your bike at the first big bumps. The band on the right had to be sealed with metal tape to keep it from overheating from the pipe to the muffler. I'm giving them three stars because the manufacturer doesn't seem to have addressed these issues. Does not specifically include a D-ring or buckle at the lowest point of the pockets. Worked as a last resort for a trip and will consider adding mods in the future. But if you need to add mods, you can also save your money and buy a large dog saddlebag and mod similar attachment points for about $30. Eventually I will post pictures so you can see both bag options mentioned here.
