Good quality but not as reliable on a dirt bike

These bags are a bit small but the expandable width makes up for the shorter length/height. All of your mounting points will depend on your bike frame and fender placement. If you have an off-road bike and, like me, have tried other solutions, you know that the bag needs to be kept off the hot pipe and pulled down. I had to run a thin bungee cord around the tail light to the side rings at the top/back of the bag. So this keeps them from sliding forward, but the biggest problem is securing them…

When shopping for luggage I had several things in mind: 1. Bikes - I need something versatile that can be used on two bikes; 2015 XT250 (pictured) and 2007 Yamaha FZ6. I needed them to be light enough not to compromise the limited performance of a small bike, but big enough to hold enough gear for a weekend hike. Budget - I definitely didn't have money for more expensive stuff.3. Ease of use - I didn't want to completely disassemble my rig to access the pockets or their contents. I also didn't…

There is a guide with pictures but I'm still a bit confused. I have an aftermarket luggage rack and it's a good spot to mount the rear mounts, although the included fender mount would probably fit (I haven't tried). . I think I would have trouble finding the right place for the lower bracket on a standard bike, but I have rear passenger pegs…
