Review on Fintie SlimShell Case for LG G Pad 7.0 - Ultra Lightweight Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake Feature - Black by Paul Varnado

I bought this for my mother-in-law because I was tired of hearing her complain about her tablet case. She got her G-Pad as a free gift from Verizon, but the case they sold her for it was overpriced regular junk that was too big and only held the tablet in place with elastic straps at the corners. Not only did the straps get in the way of the screen, but they blocked EVERY button, so she had to fish under it every time she needed to access the volume or lock/unlock button. I'm finally tired of looking at this tragic portrayal. This case fits your tablet like a glove and offers enough space to access all buttons and ports. But the biggest plus for her is that she locks/unlocks the screen automatically just by opening it. and closed (I think I had to enable this feature in the tablet settings for it to work). She never uses the front flap as a stand, but it has all the folds in the right places if she ever wanted it. She's been wearing her case for almost a year now and it's holding up great! She stuffs her tablet in her stuffed purse all the time, and both the tablet and the case look brand new. I'm particularly impressed with the durability of the main hinge that connects the front panel to the back of the case. Instead of listening to her grumble about her crappy old case, I had to listen to endless rave reviews about how great the case was. I can't win anyway! 😒
