Firstly I have a comparable Fitbit Inspire HR and have settled on a rough Garmin equivalent. I'm glad I took that step aside. The Fitbit is a bit more polished and interesting in my opinion, but the Vivosmart 4 gives more readings in a simpler way. If you really want to compare two fitness trackers, it's all about the differences between the two apps, because physically the two bracelets are similar. I find the battery life between charges to be about 90% of Fitbit's, and that's without spo2 enabled. I get about 7 days of battery charge with this refurbished device. Not bad by my standards. Finally a size. I think it would clear up any confusion if it was advertised as "Child/Adult-Small" rather than Small-Medium. My wrist is 6 3/4 inches long and I am 7 feet from the end of the watch strap. For some activities, you may need to move the watch 2 inches north of the regular watch position to get a better heart rate reading. I can still get through this with a few cuts. In fact, if you think you have an average wrist - even for a woman and especially for a man - go for a large size.
