This monitor started off great. I enjoyed it. I had a few issues with it (the screen didn't wake up after the computer went to sleep, so I had to turn the screen off and then back on), but it wasn't worth bringing back. A year later I get a small red bar at the top of the screen. I've been doing this for a while. Then today I wake up and see that a small red line now goes all the way across the screen and a new grey-white line appears at the top of the screen. So I contacted LG support. I was offered a repair option. I paid 600+ for the monitor. At the time of writing the monitor costs around 396. The support lady told me that I would have to pay more than 400 in taxes to have it repaired. Needless to say, LG will not receive another purchase from me. Low quality support.TLDR; First I liked the product. Shortly after purchasing the item. I had problems and got bad support and basically wanted me to pay the price of the monitor to have it fixed. bad support. no permission
