I'm renovating my bathroom. I decided to replace all existing Delta faucets (shiny brass finish) with brand new Delta faucets in brushed nickel. I chose the Windemere range as it offers similar fittings for vanity, shower and spa fittings. The plumbing was simply wrapped around the bathroom, lined the shower and tub and I realized the replacement tub faucet did not cover the opening that the original Delta faucet needed. So I've now installed a new faucet and this very visible hole next to it! Very disappointed that Delta would sell the product as a replacement for older faucets as they knew their older models were larger and had a design that used a 'pin'! Spent thousands on a remodel only to find this faucet wasn't big enough to plug the hole in the tub! See attached pictures showing the new faucet and opening, as well as a previous Delta faucet that had this hidden pin. I'm not sure how I'm going to fix this in the end. I'm not glad Delta didn't mention this in the description.
