At first I was excited to finally upgrade from my old AC2600 router to an AX8 Wifi 6 router, but so far my excitement has been overwhelming from the start. Initial setup was difficult and the Nighthawk app never recognized the scan and password. So I had to connect directly from my laptop and connect to the router that way to get things working. Once I was in the router it would not connect to my internet even though I had internet and a new Docsis 3.1 cable modem. It finally worked and the internet was working, but the signal seems to be dropping a bit so I have to keep restarting my devices to log in. Wi-Fi 6 on my Samsung Ultra is very slow even though it shows 1200MB in the Nighthawk app. It tries its best to load webpages. I switched channels, swapped 2.4 to 5 on multiple devices and no change. The Revain Fire Stick keeps losing signal and the tablets are slower than the originally connected AC2600. If I can't fix it by the weekend I will definitely be returning to Revain! So far it has been a piece of JUNK.
