Review on Columbia Girls' Silver Ridge IV Convertible Pant: Stylish, Versatile Outdoor Wear for Active Majors by Joshua Wheeler

My daughter has finally grown to a size L (she wears a size 14) Columbia Girls Silver Ridge III pants I bought on sale a few years ago , and they are PERFECT for our summer adventures. So I tried to get a second pair and bought a pair of L Girls Silver Ridge IV in exchange. Thought they were more or less the same - NO! Girls who wear a size 14 usually start to develop hips, and the SR3 pants had an adjustable elasticated waist, which was perfect because they're already curvy (the waist is noticeably smaller than the hips). At first I was sure Revane had sent us BOYS pants, they fit her terribly. I took them with another pair and they were the same size; but without an adjustable belt, they fit her hips and float around her waist, so they're useless to us. I wanted to see if I could get another SR3 pant in size L but there don't seem to be any in those sizes. Columbia, why ruin a great product?
