Large size is ideal for size 2 women!

I ordered XL first but they were huge! Bought the large ones instead and they are perfect! My waist is 28 inches and my hips are 35.5 inches and I have enough room to move and be comfortable. The best part is that no changes are made! The length is perfect!

  • Easy installation

  • Out of style

Size not suitable for women

Bought both medium and large for my 13 year old to try. While the medium (10-12) is too small, the large (14-16) is too big. Since there was clearly no in-between sizes between them, I decided to keep the large because I paid less than $20 for it and we needed something for the upcoming hike. Wouldn't buy it if I had to pay full price.

No more adjustable waist! 😓

Super disappointment! We had several pairs of these Columbia zip-top hiking pants for our two daughters. They always came with an adjustable waist. No longer! Now it's just regular waist with an elastic band and of course it's too big for my skinny girls. WTF Colombia? Little girls aren't for everyone.

Suitable for adult women S - pants

The material is the same as Columbia Silveridge 2.0 for women and men. Very light and comfortable. I am a petite adult, 5'3", 29" inseam. Typically 2 or 4 inch (26 or 27) jeans are worn depending on the cut. I ordered size L and it fits perfectly. The rise was spot on and there is room for movement - it's important because. the fabric does not stretch. I prefer the newly designed shorts which have a 9 inch inseam which is a few inches shorter than the adult version. The women's Silveridge 2.0…

Liked the previous version (Silver Ridge III) more

These Silver Ridge IV pants are made from the same fabric and quality as the Silver Ridge III. I like the new colors too. The length is perfect for my tall 11 year old daughter but the waist of the pants is too big. This wasn't a problem with the old version as it had an adjustable elastic waistband, but why on earth would Columbia remove it for this new version? There is no way to pull up your pants. It's just a "partial elastic waist". You could probably use a belt, but the adjustable elastic

High, tapering slightly at the waist.

From my wife: I ordered a paleontologist costume for my 4, almost 5 year old child. It is very light so not recommended for the winter months. Now come on, our daughter is between 5T and 6 in girls. The XX-S fitted her but was still 2 inches longer. We'll just handcuff them. However, the waist is on the small side, which I think has been mentioned in some other reviews as well. I took off a star for the odd fit - very average weight and weight baby so the very long length and thin waist was a…

Keeps cool, L size fits adult female XS

I'm a small adult (5'2") and bought a large size (medium was too tight), I usually wear an XS or 25 Women pants.I found the waist too big so I have to wear it with a belt (I have a waist of 26), the hips fit well (I'm 34).The length is a bit too long for me so I cropped and Added elastics to turn them into joggers which makes them look so much better.I wore them on a hot day and they didn't feel hot at all so I was really cool. There are no references to the leg zips (like others convertible…

The Silver Ridge 3 pants were so much better

My daughter has finally grown to a size L (she wears a size 14) Columbia Girls Silver Ridge III pants I bought on sale a few years ago , and they are PERFECT for our summer adventures. So I tried to get a second pair and bought a pair of L Girls Silver Ridge IV in exchange. Thought they were more or less the same - NO! Girls who wear a size 14 usually start to develop hips, and the SR3 pants had an adjustable elasticated waist, which was perfect because they're already curvy (the waist is…

Wrong size for women

These pants are great quality and color (5 stars for that) but the size is too big (2 stars) plus size. We've ordered the Columbia Silver Ridge III version of the pant many times in the past, so we decided to give the Silver Ridge IV a try. The waistband is elastic at the back, compared to the Model III, which had an adjustable waist, but most other details remained the same. We ordered the Silver Ridge IV in size L because my daughter outgrew the medium to the Silver Ridge III. They were way…
