Review on Columbia Girls' Silver Ridge IV Convertible Pant: Stylish, Versatile Outdoor Wear for Active Majors by Anuj Mierzejewski

These Silver Ridge IV pants are made from the same fabric and quality as the Silver Ridge III. I like the new colors too. The length is perfect for my tall 11 year old daughter but the waist of the pants is too big. This wasn't a problem with the old version as it had an adjustable elastic waistband, but why on earth would Columbia remove it for this new version? There is no way to pull up your pants. It's just a "partial elastic waist". You could probably use a belt, but the adjustable elastic waistband was much more comfortable.
