I have purchased other bin and storage bags from this company and have written reviews on those purchases. But this is the first time I've bought the smaller size, which is a 5 gallon drawstring bag that I use in the bathroom bucket. I chose these bags because they are 1.0mm thick. They replaced the 0.7mm pouches I had previously used which were a bit flimsy. They are so cute and the drawstring is a great feature. I've read that people complain about these and other bags that they aren't strong enough and they tear. Whether you buy 5 gallons, 8 gallons, or 13 gallons, etc., these household trash bags were never designed to be filled with 25 pounds of glass and bricks... as long as you use them for their intended purpose and don't make your own too heavy. Don't put any sharp bones or pieces of broken glass, many pockets will suffice. If they're too heavy or overstuffed because you want to avoid using another new bag, you're probably out of luck. But in conclusion I would like to say that the many different bags I have used from Plastic Place are excellent and quite durable. I bought their 55 gallon 4mm black lawn bags as well as their 42 gallon white garbage bags which are also 4mm thick. I use white bags to store blankets, toys, and other items and tie them together with plastic zip ties. Their products are second to none and are primarily made in the USA. Just a great company!
