Replacement for an 8 year old Conair clipper that was becoming dull and the motor was rattling. The body material and build feel is high quality, heavy for its weight. The blades felt sharp and were almost fully charged when received. The tips were very flimsy and flimsy and could use my old tips if they broke. The blade got stuck in my thick hair and poked/pulled my hair several times. I would expect that from an old, worn out set like my boring one that I replaced, but not from a new clipper. The transition from 0 to 3 on the sides was smooth and the microblade adjustment works as expected. Includes adapters up to #8 which is perfect for my needs. Battery life was good, after cutting my hair the battery life was mid 80's according to the small LCD display. Next time I'll probably choose a better brand due to my thicker hair, but this is average - good for what it is. I wouldn't do it but this is again but it's not too bad to bear the hassle of going back.
