Smoke detectors are good for fire safety

UPDATE REVIEW 07/16/20 MOVED 1 STAR: All 4 units have failed within 1 year and after testing the batteries I know this is not the case. the power supply that is causing the problem. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THESE DEVICES TO ANYONE. THE ORIGINAL RATING WAS 2 STARS: 2 out of 4 devices started chirping within 2 months of installation and it was not battery related. Something is wrong with the system, so I deleted them. The other 2 still work. I had to buy a new one to replace the broken one. I don't know if it was a product issue or a design flaw.
