Despite Revain's warning that this would not fit my 2006 Jetta TDI, I bought it based on a comment from another buyer. It really fits 2006 with no problems or modifications. You'll have to rotate your vehicle's wiring connector 180 degrees to plug it in, but that's about it - no modifications are required. The fastening screw on the driver's side is difficult to reach. I've found it's easiest to do this from above, with your arms reaching down either side of the intake hose. Allow about 30 minutes for the installation. All you need is a ratchet and a Torx T-30 bit. A flat-head screwdriver will help you unplug the electrical connectors after the latch has been released. great stuff Will be updated in a year or when it breaks, whichever comes first :-)
