Lights work fine. Instructions would have been helpful but not too difficult to figure out if you play around with it long enough. Main problem was installation. The way in which the lights were meant to be strapped to the umbrella was plastic eyelets on each module. However, for some unknown reason, the plastic eyelets had been clipped off of the set I received. They didn't even bother to do a good job of that as half the eyelet was left behind. I could tell this was the case by looking at the installation pictures in the description. But. I needed them for a party and didn't have time to return and reorder so I made do by using extra zip ties but it took 10x the time and effort than it would have otherwise.
