Works great on Linux Ubuntu

In my case the 4k monitor was not recognized even though the laptop and my graphics card support 4k. I contacted J5 and their support was excellent - I had a plug and play device (aka windows) that was NOT working but they helpfully said the device was fine because it didn't have plug and play. he is warm And I plug it into an external USB-C charger - as recommended so it doesn't draw power from the laptop (although that might only matter if you're mobile and unlikely to use an adapter). Other adapters are simple and not much to say - I think the device is actually connected to the HDMI port of a 4k monitor. The 4k monitor worked straight away - depending on if you're using Linux you might have different issues related to app scaling - most websites said Firefox has better support (option in settings) for scaling - and an add-on called "Fixed zoom" that sets the zoom of all windows to the same level and also supports changing it for each individual app (that responds to zoom), which I thought about switching to Firefox - but I would be not surprised if Chrome is what it is now, might have been an old post - I've returned to Chrome, but not for a thorough Zoom review because Firefox's download behavior is a bit different than Chrome, or maybe the win version and the clicks that opened the pdf actually download so when you set the default download folder i found it wasn't obvious it was downloading den would, but a blank window opened to see steal (at least) me
