I guess it's the old saying "you get what you pay for". It was immediately apparent that these pads were of poor quality. Poor processing of the casting, the contact surfaces of the rim were not flat but curved, the processing and quality of the fittings indicated a low-budget product. I even had to use older, thinner washers because the length of the bolt was too short to make enough contact with the nut. And the most important? How have the brake pads proven themselves? The brake pads didn't stop the bike at all. They required a LOT of pressure and still couldn't get the job done quickly and efficiently. They felt "soft". I could live with the inferior looks if they worked the way brakes are supposed to, but they didn't. Luckily, I was able to get my refund quickly, which I was grateful for.
