Part of my 10 speed OLD Schwinn World rebuild came with new brake pads. This old bike used old horseshoe calipers and because of the difference between the caliper angle and the rim angle I had to be able to match the camber to the contact area between the brake and the rim. These pads are fine. They don't squeak, which was almost as important to me as their actual stopping power. The OEM brakes on my bike, especially the front, squeaked so loud it was embarrassing, so I'm glad I fixed this issue. In terms of performance, I think they're okay.
