These pads are fine. They don't squeak, which was almost as important to me as their actual stopping power. The OEM brakes on my bike, especially the front, squeaked so loud it was embarrassing, so I'm glad I fixed this issue. In terms of performance, I think they're okay. Admittedly I don't have much to compare but my impression of these pads is that they would work better if the rubber was a bit more resilient. In any case, the rubber of the brake pad surface is hard, almost so hard that it has the tactile properties of plastic. Maybe it prolongs her life? Or, more likely, because of their lower quality. Either way they work fine but to be honest my stopping distance is no better and looks like maybe a little worse than with the OEM pads. All in all I'm happy with this purchase as I don't need high performance hardware and they gave me a decent solution at the right price.
