Review on High-Performance V Brake Pads for Bicycles - Set of 4 Pairs with Hex Nuts and Spacers - 70 mm V Brake Blocks by Tyson Mosucka

I had my worst time getting a set of these for a cheap bike repair at a department store. During installation, I noticed again and again that the shoulder of the threaded bolt (on the back of the rubber brake pad) was loosening and the pad was dangling a lot despite the screw being tightened correctly. I was given one of the four sets to work with and finished the job. I am puzzled by how different my experience with this product is from other reviewers. I consider myself a little better than a novice bike mechanic with decent experience installing bike brakes. I've never had anything like this. I noticed the low quality of the repaired bike as this could be one of the reasons for the problem.
