I bought the brown wool to wear with a camel colored winter midlength jacket. It definitely is not the brown depicted. The color is more orange than brown. I'm returning and opting to get an altogether different style. I also own the same hat in the black lighter weight version. It wear it often but wanted something warmer and a little more formal/dressy for winter to wear with the jacket. The winter style was slightly different than the black; seems less moldable and thicker at the brim. The quality of the hats from this store have been good. I get many compliments on the black. It packs well in a suitcase as I travel often for work and wear this during business trips. Hoping the new style will be a better color.
