I'm a field engineering contractor, primarily a heavy mobile equipment mechanic, and we often have to work on equipment that has failed in a dangerous location. So I bought this system to put on my van along with some other lights. I will immediately say that two light bulbs did not work. Customer service was very good to send replacement. The product as a whole looked like the wiring looked like cheap Chinese junk at first glance. And the length of the cord wasn't very long especially attaching it to a van, truck etc would probably be ideal for something like a Dodge Neon but other than that I recommend ordering extensions. Installation is not difficult and fairly easy. I found that the bulbs and wire don't connect well to each other and also to the controller. Poor contact in the connectors. As a result, the lights often stopped working and you drove into another bump. Overall I got what I expected for the money. I just think they could have been more consistent if they ran a little longer. The final disappointment came when I noticed none of the lights were working, so upon further inspection I found that something in the electrical box had shorted out and nearly burned my van down. All of the cable connectors were crisp black and melted on both the cable and the controller. So my opinion is unsafe stuff and waste of money.
