These socks are great! Not only are they very affordable, but they have become one of my new favorite socks. I am pregnant and at this point my feet swell from spending the day on my feet. These socks made a big difference! There is almost no swelling and my ankles feel supported all day. I started having ankle pain before I bought these socks and haven't had them since. I can't comment on how they can help athletes, but if you're on your feet all day and have ankle pain or are pregnant, I can't recommend this product enough! I bought size L/XL and wear women's size 9.1/2 - 10. Fits perfectly.
