Review on Cascadia Mykonos Blue Peacoat by Brooks - Enhanced for SEO by James Hova

A random recommendation became the default trail runner

I was dealing with tendonitis from excessive uphill running. Aside from my personal overtraining, my alts stopped working and actually seemed to make the problem worse even when I was resting with normal walking. Two weeks after graduating I was playing with a kid in the park and saw a different dad with some of them. I asked him if he liked them, he said he loved them so I gave them a chance. With them I was able to do some easy runs to keep up my fitness before a multi-day hike in the mountains. I was still able to work with them as best I could and finally felt like I had the right support with the sticky tread and heel comfort I needed now. Even though I'm in recovery mode right now, this saved my life at the last minute and I really wasn't expecting it.

Pros
  • The soft midsole absorbs shock and reduces stress on the joints.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with sensitive feet.
