I know most gases have an odor so they can be detected if there is a leak, but I'm not always standing near something when there might be a leak. This little device connects easily and seems to be working well - thankfully I had no trouble spotting it. Honestly, it's a very reasonable price and offers a degree of security and peace of mind. I'm very glad I have it. If you use gas in your home, you should probably have it too. My only regret is that I don't have two! But I can solve this problem. :)
