i really like it and thanks to Renogy for their support on the phone i called 3 times and always got a great answer. It works as expected, great product. I looked around a lot and decided on this one. what i want in there, like in there: 3000 watts without a socket. I didn't want to and shouldn't connect anything to it. mobile installation. I placed it in a hard-to-reach place and I don't have easy access to it. It's got a remote turn-on connection, yippie. What I think could be better: during installation I found that it MUST have a battery connected to it to turn it on. why am I asking? I can think of scenarios where I would want to disconnect the battery and use an inverter. Minor of course, but something to know. then the display panel is on top of the device and there is NO offset display panel. As I said, I installed it in a hard-to-reach place where I can't see the panel. another, which I consider a small minus, but I also know something. 3rd: Wire, RJ11, for the on-off remote control is very long, excellent. I only needed about 3 feet, and there's plenty left. underage again. but the remote battery temperature sensor, BTS, is only about 3 feet long and I need 15 feet. I asked Renogy support what to do. You said you can solder extra wire if needed. ok i added a phone cord to get there, easy but cutting the bts rj11 is more difficult. What I'm wondering is WHY so many remote controls but so few touch wires. Next, and this is my biggest dislike: there's no way past AC. I connected my main input to the inverter and passed it to the fuse box. When the inverter is off, it will not provide shore power to power the motor home. then go? When switched on, it regularly starts its fan and constantly charges the battery. I don't and don't always have to leave the fan running like it sounds or charge the charger as the camper charges the battery when shore power is connected and I have a solar battery that charges. I just want the inverter to turn off from time to time. how it happens should be included. I created a workaround but I think it's very important to know about it. Next Minor: Front 120V Input and Output Openings: The access opening on the inside is close to the socket on the unit BUT, the opening on the side is about 2 inches from the socket. So you say: well, the distance from the access hole to the connector is very small, and the thick wire is not easy to bend, but it can be bent to work. Renogy - PLEASE move the outlet in the cover so that it is in front of the connector plug. At the time of writing, there is no remote display for the latest inverters, but it would be very nice to have one. There is also a small typo in the user manual, page 16, choosing battery settings, 5 6-4 sealed lead acid Use sealed lead acid. I mentioned this to Renogy, I think it will be fixed one day.
