unit cannot support the weight of the radar. It sags with every bump in the road, forcing you to constantly correct it. BUT, if you glue each one with superglue, then the thing will do, you can't tilt it anymore, but it will hold, even off-road. The suction cup also does its job well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. They should have designed it with a socket instead of a smooth plastic clip. If they ever do, it will be a very good replacement for the original bracket.
