I use this for growing gourmet mushrooms indoors. Like most products that read moisture, it will get wet and give false readings. If you can position the sensor so it doesn't get water droplets, that helps. I try to keep my greenhouse at 95% RH and this seems accurate compared to other humidity sensors I use. There are many of them, but I got this because of the specifics of programming. The nice thing is that you can set high and low limits. The controls are a bit odd, but the instructions make it easy to figure it out.
