I tried several Bluetooth headphones this holiday season. I've been trying to find what I think is the best pair of Bluetooth headphones for the money. First I tried JBL E40BT, then iFrogz Coda Forte. These Jabra Revo cans outperform the competition for just a little more price. The first thing that strikes me is the much higher build quality and comfort of using the Jabra Revos. Not only do they look great, they fit my head perfectly. I have not noticed any ear fatigue after using them for hours on various applications. I can't say the same about other models I've tried. The sound quality is just fantastic. Rich bass, tight mids, good highs. Where these headphones are good is in the FULL bass response. Hearing the actual brightness of the recorded bass versus the overall sound is a huge difference and many headphones skip this step. Not REVO, it works great with low frequencies to high intensity, from R&B to orchestra. Bluetooth connection was easy for my android, taotronics bluetooth transmitter for wireless tv sound and my pc. It doesn't have the latest Bluetooth version, which shows the device's battery life, but that's a very small missing benefit for a model that's a couple of years old. I had to update my PC's Bluetooth drivers to avoid audio stuttering on Windows 8, but everything worked fine after the update. I haven't tried the microphone or phone speaker functions yet, so I can't comment on that. Wired performance mostly sounded on par with wireless, which isn't usually the case. Usually a wired connection overshadows Bluetooth audio, but in this case I didn't notice much of a difference. Major advantage. The bottom line, IMO, is that if you're looking at these types of headphones and scrolling through the reviews to see which ones you'll like, try them out first. They're a little more expensive than some of the cheaper models, but they're not in the 250+ range of Bose or Beats (which sound worse in my opinion). I am very happy with the purchase.
