Review on 🥤 Bormioli Rocco Glass Frigoverre Jug: Clear 1 Liter Pitcher with Airtight Lid - Perfect for Water, Juice, Iced Coffee & Iced Tea by Saul Rivera

These Frigoverre jars will last for years. I bought 2 to replace a pair I had for years and they worked perfectly until they fell on the kitchen floor. The design is great: the square shape is more compact than the round jug. The jug is perfect for a fridge door or countertop. Unlike plastic, glass never discolours or absorbs odors and can be sterilized if necessary. Some reviewers are negative about the lids. I've attached a photo of the disassembled cover. This is not my video and the video is probably more helpful than reading about the procedure, but if you can't find the video the following information may help: The Cap ID has 4 parts. Rubber gasket and 3 pieces of plastic (an outer knurled ring, an inner threaded spool, and a small strip that snaps onto the top of the spool) to seal the cap. Place it on the jug and then turn the handle on top of the lid. The coil retracts into the outer ring and expands the rubber ring to form a tight fit against the glass. If the jug is sealed, I can turn the jug upside down or shake it without leaking. The inner ring can be turned counterclockwise for cleaning. This is easier if you remove the small plastic tab first. The two main parts are separate and all parts can be cleaned and assembled.
