And then my cheap wiring died and I have to go and buy another laptop cooler. I used mine on my lap most of the time so the wires moved around a lot. If you plan on using it as a stationary cooler, that's probably better. But who buys a laptop for stationary use? UPDATE: I've just spent 10 hours searching the internet for the best laptop cooler and made the final decision: I'll buy another Tripp Lite. I don't think it's that bad. I plan to tape the wires tightly to the radiator with electrical tape so there is less chance of damaging the wiring this time. I am extending my 1 star rating to all laptop coolers in the world and am updating this rating to 2 stars. THIS IS AS GOOD AS YOU CAN GET.
