Review on πŸ’» Enhanced Detachable Touchscreen Experience with Windows EZpad by Ashwin Chauhan

This is a great little tablet laptop, unfortunately the WiFi adapter advertised is not dual band

Pretty much my only issue with this little guy is that it's advertised as dual band WiFi but only 2.4Ghz supports. It's not a deal breaker given the value for money, but I know some people won't be able to take advantage of this if they only have the 5GHz bands. I was looking for a wireless adapter, Realtek RTL8723BS WLAN 802.11n SDIO, found other confused people with the same question. It turns out that despite driver updates, it can only support 2.4GHz. Of course, you can always use Bluetooth through your phone to connect it to the network in a place where you can't connect, but it's a little cumbersome in my opinion. Otherwise, it's a reasonably fast little laptop-style tablet that's otherwise fully functional. Hell, it can even play some basic games on low settings, more than I ever expected. Obviously this is a Chinese product so this may be a translation error as the adapter supports B/G/N. network types. I see someone personally downloaded it, tested it, and ran Windows Update, so they definitely didn't skimp on making sure the product worked. I appreciate that very much. I personally don't want anything from the company. I'll change this to 5 stars when they change their description so people don't accidentally buy it believing it can connect to 5GHz networks. I recommend it if you agree with this little quibble.
