They look the same as the Waterpik brand at first glance, but they don't work the same. You were fine. They fit in the car, but produce much less water. Like other reviewers, I found I had to turn up the pressure all the way to get the same results, while still using regular filament from time to time. The picture shows that the plastic on it (yellow) is thicker than the branded hose (grey) and the hose is thinner, which explains why less water goes through. I didn't use the rest of the packaging and went back to the big name instead, which is a shame because they're double the price of these.
