These are great for polycarbonate glasses! My 5 year old just got glasses and has to wear a mask to school all day too. Her optometrist (and her dad) all warned me that all anti-fog products either don't work or work so badly that it's not worth using. I thought they were cheap enough to take the risk and it paid off handsomely! Proved the optometrist wrong. She and the doctor couldn't believe they were actually working but they saw it for themselves when we picked up her last pair of glasses (we had 3 pairs). I sent them a link and now they are recommending them to clients. In the queue at the store, people at the post office keep asking me how I keep their glasses from fogging up. I've even given away a few to random people because they were so overwhelmed by young people (and old people/technology issues) that I just shared a link to the product with them. I came back to order more and no wonder they have been sold out and out of stock for over a week. Luckily they last at least a month, but they'll probably last a lot longer, so we can wait. Every morning I usually wipe down her glasses and then use a dry anti-fog wipe to make sure they last all day at school. They seem to stay open all weekend because I didn't let them re-advertise until Monday. If I wipe them with a regular dry cloth or plain water they still don't fog up, but if I have to use a damp lens cleaning cloth they have to be removed again. This rating is primarily for use with polycarbonate lenses when used with safety eyewear. They also seem to work well when stepping outside from a cold building in the heat/humidity. I haven't tried them for steam washing dishes and cooking. When I worked at Chick-fil-A, this was a huge problem for me! They don't work that well with my sunglasses and need to be reapplied more often, so I'm not sure they're that effective on plastic lenses or helmet shields and everything else. Why do I need them because they are amazing and I couldn't be happier!
