System works extremely well. So much in fact that for the price it was certainly well worth it. Other systems I’ve tried just can’t compete with this one when it comes to screen responsiveness, processor speed, features, size of touchscreen, etc etc. Not too mention it’s also designed for the Fiat 500 exclusively and fits perfectly which is a huge deal. Looks factory even. Lots of features exist in this system, too many to mention really but just to list some include wireless CarPlay or Android auto (amazing), newest Android 12 OS so actually better than the 11 advertised on Revain, can play videos or anything right from the screen because it’s an android system, you have play store for more apps, fast Bluetooth connection and playback for music and calls, wifi built in, and finally wonderful sound quality. This system will sound louder and have improved audio quality too from the old radio system (no surprise there), with the better codec and computer inside compared to the old radio. Audio is crisp and you can finally play audio wirelessly! No need to just use the Aux input for songs like I had to before because Fiats Bluetooth system Blue&Me at the time did not allow for wireless audio playback. You can even mess around with EQ and the sound coming from the individual speakers like new vehicles (not possible before), so yeah audio nerds will love this. In addition to this, the screen is very bright, very sensitive, no lag at all. You also have a ton of settings to adjust to your tastes in the settings app for various controls like the screen or sound. Nice. You can even add a backup camera very easily as well with the included cables they give you. Also great As for install, it was a breeze. Took less than 20 minutes to take old factory radio out and hook up the new system to the Fiat with the included wire harness they give you and it was good to go. Instructions are clear on what to do but honestly you don’t even need them it’s that simple just plug and play. It’s all designed for the Fiat nicely I must say with the vent covers on the new system going over the existing vents (no need to remove climate vents). Also if you happen to buy this and you have the Fiat 500e model (electric model) then it will work for that too if you were wondering like me. I have a 2014 Fiat 500e so that’s what I installed the new system in. Unless of course you have the 2016 Fiat 500 model or later with the factory Fiat touchscreen this system will not work. But any Fiat 500 model from 2007 to 2015 will work, including the 500e model for the models pre 2016.But yeah, what a wonderful system from Xtrons. Great support too from Xtrons themselves as well. Awnsered all questions I had with accuracy and speed. So go ahead and buy if you have a Fiat 500 and want to update it with the latest and greatest technology you can get. Can’t go wrong! Like a new vehicle now
