Review on Magnetic Toggle Switch Cover & Outlet Protector: Ultimate Convenience and Safety by Jorge Eckstein

Revainrating 5 out of 5

not safe enough for electricians

they are enough if they are in a place where you don't break the habit and you physically look at the switch and not just reach for it. however, in a place where you thoughtlessly wave your hand and flip a switch as you walk into a room you've walked into without looking for years? This cover flies every time you enter the room. I have one on a switch in my bedroom that has since been replaced with a smart fan/light controlled by a wireless remote. EVERY TIME I walk into a room, I reach out and flip the switch without looking. This cover is not strong enough to stay on the switch. Instead it flies and I have to struggle to pick it up and replace it. Maybe the frustration of having to do it will eventually teach me to stop but it's been 2 weeks so far with no change in behavior lol. I take it off and replace it with a lid that attaches with screws instead of magnets. .

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • there are shortcomings
