I don't really leave reviews but this product has to be. My story is that I grew up with parents who made a living from herding animals. These animals were not cared for properly and destroyed their homes. My biggest fear was getting an animal and it would destroy MY house. I have put off getting a pet for as long as possible. Fifteen years later, my husband and I fell in love and adopted two kittens. One of them had an accident on my white leather sofa. a sofa that we only had for a month. I was PANIC about what to do. I grew up under the impression that nothing ever gets rid of the smell of cat pee. For example, an odor may "seem to” be gone, but when it gets damp or wet, the odor returns. I saw this product and decided to try it. Before finding this product, I first treated the area with another natural cleanser that said it would get rid of the smell, but it didn't. So the area was treated with a non-toxic cleaner and left for a week before I received it in the mail. I made two requests to the site 24 hours apart. NO SMELL after three days. The trick was to apply it generously and wait. It has a fresh smell while drying, but that also goes away after a few days and you get odor-free surfaces again. That is amazing. I hope I never have to use it again as long as I have these crampons, but if another accident happens I don't have to panic anymore.
