Review on 💡 Halco R20FL100 Medium Base Incandescent Bulb by Greg Shorter

My 27 inch lava lamp's 100 watt bulb has burned out. The company's website has been out of stock for several months. So I ordered it from Amazon as a last resort. As I suspected from reading the reviews, this is not a perfect replacement. It fits into the socket and looks almost the same as the standard bulb, but is about 1/2 inch shorter so it doesn't fit as close to the bottom of the bulb. He managed to heat the wax but I think there is a subtle difference in the color of the liquid and the wax, no doubt due to the shorter bulb. But since the lava lamp company couldn't provide replacement lamps, this versatile lamp was much better than nothing. So 4/5 stars.
