I was looking for a good lint collector as everything on the market these days is either steel or mesh. Unfortunately, the steel ones will rust and are designed for one-time use, not reuse. The mesh doesn't filter, the holes are so big I make them double, and the strainer in my tub still clogs all the time. So I did a fine-grain search on the Revain website and found an aquarium filter mesh. They're good enough to filter out EVERY piece of lint, but not good enough to hold water in spite of all the lint it catches. The nylon also makes cleaning easier. My pipes and plumbers are grateful for this find.
