The GFO I want to use is great for use in a regular mesh bag. These extra fine bags work great, nothing leaks out of the bag. I wish they were a bit bigger but that's not a problem. I would recommend them.

Great for purists! I would recommend putting extra padding on top to ensure the water gets through the bag. The laces don't close 100%, so you'll need extra padding to catch any stray particles that might escape.

I use these in several AIO tanks instead of the included media pouches. I like that I can select any medium and also move it. They appear to be well made and allow for many media on large tanks. A good product!

Tie cords come out of the inside of the bag, not the outside. This makes it problematic to use fine-grained products. When you close the bags, the bags will leave a gap at the top. I've found that I can seal the pouch better if I pull the drawstring again after untying it.

I really scored them for thinking they were the right size but they are really tiny pockets that don't fit me. but that doesn't mean they're bad and don't work for other people's needs. They appear to be of good quality and tightly woven to capture and hold small particles.

If you want to try Purigen for the first time or if you have tried it in a 100ml pack and it was not possible to refill it to your liking, I strongly recommend buying it of loose purigen and the use of such a package for the media. I was only able to do 5 reloads from the 100ml pouch before the pouch was compromised. This media case looks well built and should last a long time. I'll update my review if I find any issues, but so far so good.

I've been waiting and waiting for better results after using it in my aquariums. At first I thought I was doing it wrong but I tried a few more times until I decided wasn't right, expected the results. The water in my tank still looks cloudy and my fish are still dying one after the other. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed with this product not helping or just feel cheated with the descriptions. And just recently bought other brands in the store and within a week the turbidity in the water…

I was looking for a good lint collector as everything on the market these days is either steel or mesh. Unfortunately, the steel ones will rust and are designed for one-time use, not reuse. The mesh doesn't filter, the holes are so big I make them double, and the strainer in my tub still clogs all the time. So I did a fine-grain search on the Revain website and found an aquarium filter mesh. They're good enough to filter out EVERY piece of lint, but not good enough to hold water in spite of all
