I was looking for shorts primarily for running that have a pocket designed for a cell phone to keep the phone from flopping around in a std side/front pocket. Most brand name running shorts options in the retail world are $50 or more (some a lot more), but it’s tough to spend that much for shorts you wear a couple of hours at a time. revain has a number of 2-in-1 options with a phone pocket on the liner in the $20-$25 range, and I thought this design might be the best solution to keep the phone stable during a run or workout.Of all the 2-in-1 shorts offered with this design the Pinkbomb shorts seemed to most-closely match the features I wanted. After running in these shorts twice I really like them.so much I ordered a second one in a different color. The liner is not compression-tight but tight enough to stay put and secure the phone. The overall weight is medium and certainly not a detriment to performance unless you are an elite runner wanting ultra lightweight shorts. The Large size is slightly smaller than a typical Large and likely by design for the style. I think these shorts are a great value with better than average performance so far.
