Review on KeylessOption Keyless Control Replacement HLO1J0959753F by Matt Tebow

My local VW dealer lied straight to me when I asked them for a quote on making this new key. I was told that I can ONLY buy a key through Volkswagen. The locksmith who cut this key for me (and for a much lower price than VW too) said that maybe the VW person I spoke to was just confused. Seemingly, the new Beetle's keys can't be plain and cut. But if you have an older "New Beetle" from the 90's/early 00's then this key will work great! Also, I programmed it myself within a minute using some instructions I found online. I would definitely recommend buying this key if you need a spare or an extra!
