Received this lens a few weeks ago. good shape I like the feel of the focus ring, aperture, lens hood and the lens itself. That and the 50mm f/1.8 might make you a fan of using vintage lenses. If you want to see if a 135mm lens is right for you for portraits etc then this is a great budget option. ADVANTAGES: OVERALL GAIN, MICROCONTRAST, SHARPNESS, BOKE, PRICE, FOCUSING RING, WEIGHT. This lens is very sharp above f/4-5.6. Bokeh is soft, blurry and pleasing (not as quiet as the Nikkor 105mm f.2 DC). The micro contrast is very good. The lens has a great feel. Great lens for the price. Weaknesses: Severe chromatic aberration at f/2.8 on backlit or high-contrast subjects. Focusing on modern digital SLR cameras without a viewfinder adapter can be difficult for some people with vision problems. Those who are used to manual lenses can focus quickly. I would exercise caution when using moving subjects or high definition and high definition DSLRs.
