I am sending this based on my facility. This might work for you when connecting two black tanks. But in my case it was a black tank outlet and a taupe outlet. I wish it had check valves/flaps (non-return valves). Anyhow, with a hose connected to each tank outlet and leading to each Y branch, this allows the contents of whatever tank you empty to flow back into the hose connected to the other tank. While the tank valve is preventing flow into the tank, you may have contents from the rinse tank stuck in another hose. I understand it can still be flushed, but it's easier to just hook up another hose and not worry about waste where you don't need it. Because of this I used it once, wrapped it up and threw it in the trash.
