My husband actually asked me if I chose a different brand because it leaks so badly. I told him no, I spent the extra money to get a good brand and one that goes with all our other stuff. So I'm not sure what's up with that, but it doesn't go well with other pieces from the same brand. And it's leaking because it's not fitting as snugly against the other components as it should.

This part was a great idea and the price seemed reasonable, but I don't know if the locking ring that came with my unit was defective or a special type. Tubing is required but it just cut through my new tubing like a hot butter knife. I kept trying, but one turn of the retaining ring kept cutting the tubing. I'll send the device back as soon as time permits, because nobody needs a leaky poop tube.

This Y-piece is perfect for my other hoses and drain plugs. This saves time at the landfill. I am sending this based on my facility. This might work for you when connecting two black tanks. But in my case it was a black tank outlet and a taupe outlet. I wish it had check valves/flaps (non-return valves). Anyhow, with a hose connected to each tank outlet and leading to each Y branch, this allows the contents of whatever tank you empty to flow back into the hose connected to the other tank.
