Easy to pitch - Easy to pack - Surprisingly roomy

I bought this tent because I needed a strong tent that was small, easy to pitch and pack and to me, a random friend and my LARGE fits (90 lb.) white German Shepherd. I had no problem attaching this tent to my Osprey Ariel 65 women's backpack - I didn't even feel the 5lb 14oz tent + groundsheet. With a friend and dog in tow, we spread out both of our mats and had about 6-8(?) inches left on the side and at least 12" x 56" on the bottom - meaning my dog had room. sleep without trying to grab my mat and crush myself in the process. I really like the layout of the two vestibules which help protect gear in inclement weather; it leaves room for essentials and my dog INSIDE. I live in PNW so rain is a frequent occurrence - we are used to it but we like to stay dry and cozy in our tents whenever possible which is why this ALPS Mountaineering 2 Person Chaos Tent is so amazing - it has us kept dry! When it's warm and dry I like to sleep outside (but mosquito proof!) with mesh openings and roof doors (always zipped so bloodsuckers can't get in!). I love that this tent is VERY easy to fold up after use and pack into a storage bag. With other tents I always had a padding problem. The ALPS Mountaineering Chaos 2 person tent allows me to easily fit the tent, fly, poles, pegs and groundsheet lifeguard of the ALPS Mountaineering Chaos 2 tent I purchased to add another layer of protection in the storage bag. I also coated everything with an extra waterproofing sprayโ€”especially since PNW dumps so many gallons of water on us and I'd rather be safe than sorry.
